Imaginary Authors Cape Heartache – the only American contribution to Philip Sava’s extraordinarily popular series of exploration novels. Loosely based on the expedition Sava undertook as a teenager in 1881 in the Pacific Northwest, it is generally considered his most sincere and clearest work.
