Perfumer
Margaux Le Paih Guérin makes gourmands that feel modern rather than kitsch. She is a perfumer at the Paris studio Flair. For Sora Dora she made Red, and for Versatile Paris Croissant Cafe.
She trained at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris. At the studio she works alongside Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel. Through Flair she also works for the Korean house BORNTOSTANDOUT, for which she made Wabi-Sabi in 2024. That same year she won an international scent art competition in New York.
Her perfumes are dense and soft but never heavy to wear. She likes to find her ideas in food, such as a Paris breakfast, an Indian chai or baked apple in puff pastry. She also makes softer, woody perfumes. Nor is she afraid of smells many people find unpleasant, and her winning perfume in New York was based on one.
