Room 1015 Cherry Punk evokes the atmosphere of legendary 430 King’s Road in London and Vivienne Westwood’s iconic SEX shop. Cool kids with bleached hair trade rare vinyl records. Faded denim, hand-painted leather, latex, tartans, prints that would make parents blush and ground you for the whole summer… Did Punk invent fashion or did fashion invent Punk? From underground clubs to national TV, punk always had its style, its press (fanzines), its films, its poetry… So we concluded it should have its scent. Loud like rehearsing in a room without soundproofing. Strong like youth, yet still sweet and romantic – adolescent idealism wrapped in a heavy leather jacket.
